| Weekly Group Salsa Classes |
|
$55 a month/$90 for couples ($45 a month for H.S. and college students)
Group classes are the mainstay of our program. Our classes
concentrate on musicality, shines (open fancy footwork away from
your partner), leading and following, step patterns, partnering skills,
and just learning to have fun while social dancing. You do not need
a partner. Students rotate partners, better enabling them to adapt
to dancing with people with different levels of experience and to
develop their leading/following skills.
Our Salsa On 2 group classes are 2 hours long: The first hour
consists of shines and the second hour focuses on dynamic turn
patterns for all levels (beginner, intermediate or advanced). The
classes also teach leading/following techniques, creating a better
connection with your partner, styling tips for both men and women,
Cuban motion, salsa timing, spinning, and how to develop your own
individual style on the dance floor. |

| Unlimited Adult Salsa Package |
|
$125 a month
The unlimited monthly package is available the first week of every month. This package deal allows a student to take full advantage of all the salsa classes taught throughout the month. Students can participate in any class they wish to for the entire month. Friday night salsa socials,
special workshops and specialized classes are not included in this package. Unlimited packages must be paid in advance. |

$35 a month
Saturday mornings are salsa classes for children ages 6 to 12
and run for one hour. The new students enter the 12:00 - 1:00 pm
class and the intermediate class for our children runs from
11:00 - 12:00 pm.
Our professional and talented children's instructors are Liz Ramos, Justine
Rodriguez, Jennifer Sanchez, Erika Lopez, Tara Gonzci, Amber Nieto, Lissette
Cedeno and Jenelitza Madera. |

| Mambo Agility & Endurance Workshop |

$15 per class
Every first Sunday of each month we hold our new Mambo Agility and Endurance Workshop from 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm. Steven Gonzalez has developed a specific workout routine which consists of Yoga, Core Conditioning and Cardio. Want to improve your strength, balance and stamina, then this is the class for you.

| Special Salsa Turn Pattern Workshop |

Every second Sunday of each month we hold our new Special Salsa Turn Pattern Workshop from 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm. If you're looking for those "stand out in a crowd" one of a kind, smokin' hot salsa turn patterns, then come and check out Jose Mariscal's new workshop! Guaranteed to be nothing less than absolutely wild! All Intermediate and Advanced students are welcome to join this class.

| The Best of Merengue/Bachata/Cha Cha Moves & Turn Patterns |

Every second Sunday of each month we hold our new Merengue/Bachata/Cha Cha Moves & Turn Patterns Workshop from 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm. All beginners, intermediate & advanced level dancers are welcome to join this new workshop given by the Master of these dances, David Corchado! This workshop is guaranteed to make anyone look outstanding on the dance floor! |

| Styling Workshops For Men & Women |
|
$15 per class
Our Ladies' Styling Class is held every third Sunday of each month. The Class is from 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm for beginner and intermediate students. Our instructors will teach you all the styling secrets and the hottest styling moves, show you how to look great on the dance floor and break down SIMPLY how to move your hands and body to mambo shines, as well as in partnerwork. These workshops are a MUST for budding salseras!
AND for the guys, David Corchado runs the Men's Styling Class from 3:00 pm- 4:30 pm every third Sunday of each month. If you need to look smooth and polished on the dance floor, David will show you how to do it -- the easy way! |

| 100% Salsa Turn Pattern Workshops |

$15 per class
Every fourth Sunday of each month we hold our 100% Salsa Turn
Pattern Workshop for all levels of students. The beginner/intermediate workshops are held from 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm while the intermediate/advanced workshops are held from 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm. The objective of these workshops is to strictly focus on turn combinations, technique, partner connection, developing style,
and dancing more smoothly. |

| Friday Night Salsa Socials |
|
$5 for registered students/$10 for guests
Our weekly Friday night Salsa Dance Social (from 9:00 pm to 12:00 a.m.) called MAMBO
ON MYRTLE, is the rage and the place to be on every Friday
night! It's a great opportunity to meet and dance with other students
from all the other classes that you haven't met and also others from
the dancing community and other dance studios. Admission
is only $5 for our registered students. However, anyone is
welcome to attend these salsa socials! ($10 for guests).
We strongly recommend these sessions because they give
you an opportunity to work with different partners on step patterns
you may be having difficulty with in class. After all, learning the
steps is great, but they aren't of much use if you can't actually
dance them. The key to becoming a good dancer is practice.
All of our Instructors are available to dance with you,
demonstrate upcoming steps, and answer questions every
Friday Night -- take advantage of these Friday Night socials!
Our Studio regularly plans student group outings (called "student field trips") to Latin clubs, various dance socials,
local dance events and nightclubs. Our instructors and
students exhibit and enjoy the camaraderie and friendship
that The Lorenz Latin Dance Studio offers.

Group classes are a great way to learn patterns, but there is no
substitute for working one-on-one in a private dance lesson with a
professional instructor to learn the finer points of dancing. Whether
you want to work on dance technique, leading or following, timing or
just want to have fun, private lessons will greatly improve your
dancing skill.
A private lesson is your chance to clarify what you learned in a
group class and further hone your technique. You can cover one
dance or several during your lessons and cover specific techniques
such as how to spin better, how to lead better, or how to hear the
music better. Your instructor will be able to break down steps to their
simplest forms and show you pattern variations to increase your
versatility.
While a group lesson can teach you a pattern, you may not have
completely mastered the technique and be unaware of problems
that hold your dancing back. A group class instructor cannot give
each student individual attention during the class without slowing the
class down. If you are taking private lessons in addition to groups,
however, you have the ability to take what you learn in group class
and polish it further, maximizing the value of the group class. You'll
receive personalized feedback and encouragement during your
lesson while you work at your own pace. Students taking both
private and group lessons learn much faster and retain much more
than students taking either alone.
We have dance instructors available for private lessons seven days a
week. With many different private lesson programs to choose from,
we can also tailor a program to meet your needs.
